Jacov Colo, one of seers in Medjugorje, has let us know that the current situation in Medjugorje is critical. This winter, residents of Medjugorje and the surrounding areas have no food and heat as the temperature drops precipitously. The residents can no longer afford electricity, gas, or food. For the first time, said Jacov, who began Mary’s Hands (Marijine Ruke), a charity for the poor in 2016, the pantry in Medjugorje where he stores food, is empty. He is calling out for us to help. The inhabitants of Medjugorje and the surrounding towns have prayed for the world and for pilgrims every day for many years. The time is now to give back.
Why is this charity so important?
In Medjugorje, there is no government help, when a person loses an income. Jacov Colo’s charity, and the 90 friends who volunteer with him, desperately need donations, but because they are not part of the EU, they don’t have PayPal, Venmo, or any of the pay platforms we have in the E.U., U.K. or U.S.—nothing. It’s time for the world to step up and do something for this town that has done so much for the world.
When Veronica Raymonda, in the United States received a text from a man Spain, Emilio Ferrando let her know that the situation in Medjugorje was dire, Veronica immediately used funds and talent from her California business to create this website and platform for monthly auto payments, connected to a United States account solely for Mary’s Hands. Every penny will go to the funding of Jacov’s charity for the local poor, called Mary's Hands (Marijine Ruke) which helps the elderly, orphans from the war, and those suddenly finding themselves without the basic necessities of life.

Please hit the donate button. Your help is a true gift to God’s people and to God Himself, and you will be richly rewarded, for Our Lord will not be outdone in generosity. In Jakov's own words: "The people of Medjugorje thank you. They are praying for each one of you, and so are those in the surrounding area. You can't imagine how grateful the people are to receive help on a daily basis. On behalf of all of them, I want to give thanks to all of you. And I, of course, am going to keep you in my prayers. And I would ask that all of you pray for us, because it is most important that we stay united in prayer."
